Land & Building
In the year 2008, three New Trades i.e. Electrician, Welder and Plumber were added to the strength of Govt. ITI Una and New Campus of The Instruction at Peer Nigaha Road, came into existence w.e.f. 04-02-2008
Whereas old campus of the Institution, Comprising of about 8 Kanals of land shared its fixed assets with Govt. ITI(Women) Una till Date. But the New Campus of the Institution, Comprising of the land about 91 Kanals, has been developed as a show piece of Technical Institution, having greeenary all around with a well managed Play Ground, one Boys Hostel with Mess/Canteen, a Girls Hostel, 9-Seats of residential accommodation, a Motor Driving & Heavy Earth Moving Machinery Operator School (MD&HEMMO) Amb at Govt. ITI Una, a Hospitality Trades building, A PPP-Mode Building and Finally an Administrative & Academic Block-A. The Construction of Additional building Block C & D is also under Consideration of the department for the Trades still running in the old campus due to less covered area in the new campus and laying of foundation stone ceremony of additional building Block C & D is scheduled to be conducted but the Hon’ble Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh, on Dated 24/11/2019.
Sanctioned intake
At present, sanctioned intake of the institute is 880 Trainees of NCVT Affiliated 40
units/shifts. The 3 shifts of different Trades comprising of 64 seats are not run due to lack of
covered space and staff Etc.
